LNG is basically the liquefied state of natural gas and the volume of it is 1/600th of its volume as gas. It is clear, colorless, non-toxic liquid that forms when natural gas is cooled to around -160ºC. LNG is composed almost exclusively of methane. It weighs about 45% that of water so it floats on water.Natural gas is the cleanest burning fossil fuel and produces less emissions and pollutants than either coal or oil. LNG is a price-competitive source of energy that could help meet future economic needs in many countries. LNG is normally warmed to make natural gas to be used in heating and cooking as well as electricity generation and for other industries need such as coal , iron and steel, textile ,glass, tourism, food and so on.LNG can also be kept as a liquid to be used as an alternative transportation fuel.
